I am a wife and mother of an energetic, athletic daughter who has participated in everything from softball to basketball to cheerleading, soccer and figure skating before settling on volleyball as her main love. We currently live in New Carlisle, Indiana but I was born and raised in small coastal town in Maine called Phippsburg.
Since my first trip to Walt Disney World in 1986, I have been hooked on the *MAGIC* of Disney. There are simply no words to describe the feeling I get when I step onto Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park and get my first site of Cinderella Castle. No matter how many times I go to Disney, that feeling never wanes. Over the years, I have planned many family Disney trips including Grand Gatherings and Disney Cruises. We have also traveled to Disney seven times with my daughter’s volleyball teams as they competed in AAU Nationals at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Each time, the trip has included ten families. The logistics of planning trips for ten families is no easy feat. I have experience with helping families with young children, tag-along teenagers, budget-conscious parent and even grandparents with mobility issues. This planning knowledge led me to my tenure on the Disney Parks Moms Panel where I had the honor of answering guests’ questions related to both the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and Walt Disney World Resort®.
