Hello! My name is Katie, and I was a middle school English teacher for 12 years, and now I’m a middle school media specialist. I was born and raised in Orlando, which gave me many wonderful opportunities to visit the theme parks while I was growing up. I’ve attended almost every single Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party since 1990!
Even though I live in Orlando, I still love staying at the resorts, so I take advantage of any annual passholder discounts to stay at least twice a year. I’m working my way through the resorts, and I hope to have stayed at least one night at each of them eventually!
I love planning travel, and I love helping others with their travel, too… all of my friends and family, and THEIR friends and family, came to me to help them with their travel arrangements, so it was a natural thing to start to do it officially with Looking Glass Travel!
Please get in touch today to start planning your next trip, and follow along with my photos and adventures through Facebook or Instagram!
As an annual passholder, I’m lucky enough to be in and out of the Walt Disney World parks frequently (at least once a month, but generally much more often!).
Living in Orlando, I’ve also visited the Universal Studios Parks many times, as well as SeaWorld.
I have stayed at: Pop Century, Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter, Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Animal Kingdom Lodge: Kidani Village, Animal Kingdom Lodge: Jambo House, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk Inn, Wilderness Lodge, and Saratoga Springs. My favorite is either of the Port Orleans resorts! I love them both equally… how could you choose just one?! All of the other resorts I haven’t stayed at yet, but I’ve visited all of them in person!
I’ve cruised with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Celebrity cruise lines, on multiple ships.
I’ve visited England and Scotland and explored many of the historical sites there, and have TONS of tips and hints for navigating their public transportation, and saving money when you’re using it!
